foundation trust
When Coleridge and Parkside became Foundation schools, a trust was established to control the freehold and leasehold of the college buildings, and to safeguard the ethos of the college as a non-selective school serving the community of central Cambridge. Membership of this trust, The City of Cambridge Education Foundation, is open to all registered users of the college over the age of eighteen. The Foundation Trust is managed by a Board, partly elected by the membership, but also including representatives of local bodies such as the City and County Councils, local business and partner primary schools.
